| Vision:
We envision a community of discipleship groups who endeavor to further teach the message of redemption, restoration, and empowerment, within the home, city, state, nation and the world.
(Redemption = Bring Them In) (Restoration = Build Them Up) (Empowerment = Send Them Out)
Mission:
We will further learn and serve in a discipleship group to glorify God by training, sending, and multiplying disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ for the work of ministry. |

Strategy

| Our strategy is to make disciples who fully embrace the word and nature of God. Through training and weekly mentorship build Christian character and experience life changing transformation. To build an army of Godly Christ like people, through training will become effective witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ. |

Goal
The goal of our discipleship groups is to provide an atmosphere for congregants Paradise Missionary Baptist Church to mature as disciples in a deliberate and healthy way as demonstrated in scripture. The discipleship groups will engage in structured training and Sunday morning sermon outlines provided by the Christian Education Ministry.
Training
Discipleship group leaders will undergo training to provide the potential group leader with an overview of the vision, mission, strategy and goal of the Paradise MBC. To define what disciple ship groups are and their structure. To define a discipleship leader’s role in mentoring another member. To provide practical application for location, atmosphere, outlining the flow of phone conversations and meetings.
During this initial training the potential discipleship leader will be given clear procedural guidelines on starting on their assigned group, leading and mentoring, accountability, and the support they should expect to receive from the Christian Education Ministry and Pastor Alonzo G. Morris.
- Ongoing training: In an effort to invest the best in our discipleship group leaders, Paradise Christian Education Ministry will provide ongoing training and coaching. Such as: How can I duplicate my group? What are ways I can ask some powerful discussion questions? How can I become a more effective Leader? How should I care for my Discipleship Group?
Constant coaching and training will affirm the Discipleship Group Leaders in their roles, equip them to be the best support for their participants as possible.
- Some of these continuous trainings will be presented on videos or PDF documents accessible through the Discipleship Group page on the PMBC Website. Other trainings will be offered periodically in order to build skills such as asking powerful questions.
